Born in Pordenone, Italy, on September 1987. After moving to Los Angeles in 2008 he starts working as assistant for still life and advertising photographers. In 2010 he begins assisting David LaChapelle in his Hollywood Studio, working both on set and in the archive, following aspects of pre-production and shooting as well as exhibition preparation.
After graduating with honorable mention at Brooks Institute, he moves back to Italy to work on editorial and commercial projects.
Mattia spends his time between Milan and Venice where he is currently an educator at MeLa, the rendering and interactive research department at IUAV University of Venice.
